A group of Greenwich Public School parents ask the BET to support the $1.55M Funding for construction plans at Julian Curtiss and ask families to email the following people from the Board of Taxation by 9:am on Tuesday, April 19:

Support Julian Curtiss School:
1. Julian Curtiss is diverse economically (40% title 1), ethnically (90 countries) and racially (every race). Support JC’s diversity.
2. JC is a great school increasing in size and still expanding. 25% Magnet seek it out. 30% growth for the incoming kindergarten class since 2018. Support JC’s growth.
3. Doing HVAC would be a waste of money and time. Ultimately ADA, security and other issues must happen! Support JC’s fiscal prudence.
4. We can afford this $1.5MM investment. It is less than 1/2 of 1% of the $390MM we will make this year from taxes. Support JC’s future.
5. Greenwich knows 70 years of neglect and putting our diverse and economically challenged communities at the back of the line is wrong. Improve the value of our schools, communities and everyone’s property. Support JC.
