The OGRCC is proud to announce an exciting new tennis partnership that will expand high-quality recreational programming for youth and families in the
Greenwich community. Spring and Summer Tennis registration is now open, with programs taking place at the Cohen Eastern Greenwich Civic Center.
Through this new partnership with NR Sports LLC, OGRCC will offer professionally led tennis instruction designed to meet players where they are, whether they are picking up a racquet for the first time or looking to refine their skills in a fun, supportive environment.
Programs will be led by Neel Roy, owner and director of NR Sports LLC, a USPTA-certified tennis and paddle professional with deep experience developing youth and adult racquet sports programs throughout the region. Roy brings a strong coaching background, having competed at a high level internationally, captained his college tennis team, and coached players who have gone on to compete at the USTA National Championships.
Supporting NR Sports LLC on court is Coach Jacques Du Toit, a former NCAA Division I athlete and South African Davis Cup Squad member with more than 22 years of professional coaching experience. Founder of Synergy Tennis Group, Jacques has coached nationally ranked juniors, developed Division I players, and led adult league teams, bringing an energetic, approachable style that helps players of all ages build confidence and love for the game.
“We are thrilled to partner with NR Sports and coach Jacques Du Toit to bring top-tier tennis programming to the OGRCC,” said Jen Ludington, Executive Director. “This collaboration allows us to expand our offerings while staying true to our mission by providing accessible, high-quality programs that promote fitness, confidence, and community connection for all ages.”
The Spring and Summer Tennis programs will focus on skill development, sportsmanship, and enjoyment of the game, reinforcing OGRCC’s commitment to creating inclusive, welcoming spaces where participants can learn, grow, and stay active. Youth and adult programs are offered at various times and days.
