Next for the Wrecking Ball in Greenwich: 75 Havemeyer

An application has been filed by with the Dept of Public Works Division of Buildings for approval to demolish a house built in 1912 at 75 Havemeyer Place, as well as a garage.

75 Havemeyer Place sold on April 5 from Jennifer Chin, Executrix of the Estate of Mee K Chin to 75 Havemeyer Place LLC, which according to the CT Secretary of State website is registered to Catalyst Construction, LLC, whose principals are Cecilie and Michael W Jedlicka, for $1,800,000.

Because the home was built before 1940, a written letter of objection submitted to the Building Division of DPW will trigger an additional 45 day stay of demolition.

The 45 day waiting period for a demolition permit began on April 19.

The first day permit is eligible for issuance is June 4, 2024.
