Opened an office for the practice of Architecture at Great Neck, New York. Practiced as a sole proprietor and then formed the new firm of Donald J. Colasono Associates, P.C. in Greenwich, CT.
In his years of private practice, Mr. Colasono had been responsible for the design of over 490 structures of all types. He was also active as a developer in the construction of several office buildings on Long Island and Connecticut.
