Lori Ann (Honulik) Sergent, 51

Lori Ann (Honulik) Sergent, 51, peacefully went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 6, 2019 surrounded by love and family.

Born September 26, 1967, Lori was the daughter of the late Joanne and Joseph Honulik of Greenwich, CT. Lori is preceded in death by her uncles, Carmine Cambareri and Joseph Cambareri.

Lori is survived by her husband of 20 years, Leonard Sergent, Jr., her aunt, Josephine Cambareri, her sister, Linda (John) Forcino, her nephew, C.J. Forcino, and cousins.

Lori was a loving wife, sister and daughter. Lori was a fervent believer in Christ Jesus and spent her life making people smile at home, at work, and abroad.

She was a hard worker and excelled at her place of employment as a bookkeeper and office manager.

Lori never met a stranger, and her heart allowed her to bring help to anyone in need if she was able. By those who knew her closely, she is remembered for her kindness, unselfishness, consistent willingness to put others first in her concerns, her storybook eyes, and her beautiful smile.

The following is a work of poetry written to Lori by her husband one year before they were married:

“Smile”

It’s wonderful to know a person
Who you can count on for a smile
Someone to lead your spirits into flight
And be there all the while

A person who falls
Like all the rest
But, never shows signs
Of being depressed

A cheerful heart
Displayed grand and bright
With beaming eyes
Of magical delight

A voice filled solely
With honesty so clear
Happiness will take you
When this voice you hear

Someone with a purpose
A purpose worth while
Someone who lives
To see someone else smile

(This poem is dedicated to my dear friend Lori Honulik)
