Anne Voetsch Thomson, 67, of Greenwich, died on June 11 following a battle with cancer. Born in Philadelphia, PA, on July 9, 1947, she was the daughter of the late William and Georgette Voetsch. She received her BA in 1969 from Mount Holyoke College and her MBA in 1984 from American University.

Mrs. Thomson was the Director of Leasing in Washington, DC, and Director of Marketing in New York, NY, for Hines International Real Estate. She later was a residential sales agent for Coldwell Banker in Greenwich. Mrs.Thomson was a member of the Field Club of Greenwich, where she was a Board member and head of women’s tennis, the Round Hill Club, Green Fingers Garden Club and Christ Church. She also participated in several charitable endeavors in Greenwich. Previously, she was Chair of the Board of Beauvoir School in Washington, DC. Mrs. Thomson was an avid tennis and bridge player, as well as a prolific reader.

Mrs. Thomson is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jere R. Thomson of Greenwich; children, Katharine T. Ward of Beverly Farms, MA, Alice T. DiStefano of South Hamilton, MA, and Peter C. Thomson of New York, NY; and grandchildren, Ellie, Henry, and Charlotte Ward of Beverly Farms, MA, and Nina and Will DiStefano of South Hamilton, MA.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 19  at 2:00pm at the Second Congregational Church, 139 East Putnam Ave in Greenwich. Her family requests that, in lieu of flowers or other gifts, charitable donations be made to the Anne Thomson Memorial Fund at Greenwich Library, 101 West Putnam Ave. Greenwich, CT 06830.
