Alice Teresa (Dunn) Petrow, 97, of Astoria, died on November 14, 2019.
Alice was born on October 24, 1922 in Woodside, New York. She was the daughter of Michael Dunn and Alice (O’Brien).
Beloved wife of 64 years to the late Stanley Edward Petrow, Sr. and devoted mother of Jean DiVincenzo and her husband Frank of Greenwich, CT, Deborah Petrow of Astoria, NY, Stanley Petrow, Jr. and his wife Olga of Fairfield, CT the late Kenneth Petrow and his wife Angela of Granby, CT, Edward Petrow and his wife Joanne of Monroe Township, NJ.
Cherished Grandmother to Adam, Peter, Elise, Erica, Suzanne, Emily, Elizabeth, Jacqueline, Jonathan, Gregory & Eric. Alice is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be held from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm on Sunday, November 17, at Joseph Farenga & Sons Funeral Home, Astoria, NY.
A funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, November 18 at 9:30 am at Most Precious Blood Church, Astoria, NY. Interment will be at Calverton National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Most Precious Blood Church would be appreciated.
