Tree Warden Schedules Hearing on Norway Maple at 5 Brookridge

Greenwich Tree Warden, Dr. Greg Kramer has scheduled a public hearing via Zoom on the fate of a Norway Maple tree posted for removal at 5 Brookridge Drive, which happens to be the site of a recent tree clearing.

After the clear cutting, a pre-application from contract purchaser, 5 Brookridge LLC, which is registered to Joseph Pecora, was submitted to the Planning & Zoning Commission for an 8-30g affordable housing development at 5 Brookridge with five stories and 86 units.

The tree is on town property.

At 5 Brookdridge, a pre-application for a proposed 86-unit 8-30g affordable housing development has been submitted to the town’s Planning & Zoning Dept.

The tree hearing will be held on Friday Jan 14, 2022 at 1:00pm.

Norway Maple at 5 Brookridge Drive was posted for removal on Dec 10, 2021. If there are no objections within 10 days, there will be a hearing overseen by the tree warden Dr. Greg Kramer. After the hearing Dr. Kramer will issue a decision within 3 business days. Anyone disagreeing with his ruling may appeal to superior court.
