From the Town:

“Building on the Town’s strong commitment to provide community services, high quality parks and recreation facilities and programs for all residents of all ages, the Town of Greenwich has engaged the Sports Facilities Advisory, LLC (SFA) to conduct a comprehensive community engagement and analysis for the replacement and construction of a new facility to replace the Dorothy Hamill Skating Rink.”

Existing rink is in the southeast corner of Morlot Park.

The survey includes demographic information, how you currently use the rink, and what location you’d prefer a temporary rink, including: Roger Sherman Baldwin Park, Strazza Field (next to the existing rink), None of the above, or Other, please specify.

Survey also asks how you get to the rink (car, bike, walk, etc), whether you think a new access road would enhance access to the park and the rink, whether you would support construction of a temporary rink, and if not, why. It also asks for suggestions regarding the rink locations, programs, services, activities, events, facilities, future needs, etc.

This survey takes about 5 minutes to complete. Responses are anonymous.
