LWV Greenwich to Host 2026 Election Debrief: What Just Happened?

With the elections behind us, the League of Women Voters of Greenwich will host a live conversation on Tuesday, November 17, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Greenwich Town Hall.

Come join political scientist Susan Herbst (Professor and President Emeritus, UConn) for a discussion of the midterm election results.  How might we make sense of the voting process and the results?  What impact will the new composition of Congress have on the operations of government?  And what can the midterm elections suggest about the political landscape heading into 2028??

Professor Herbst will examine midterm election results and implications for governing at the Local, State, and Federal levels.

“Helping voters understand an election’s consequences is as important as helping them prepare to vote,” said Mary Browne, President of the League of Women Voters of Greenwich. “We’re pleased to welcome Susan Herbst to help our community consider what the results mean for governing and what may lie ahead.”
