State Rep. Livvy Floren Will Run Again After All

After recently announcing her intention to retire, State Rep Livvy Floren, who represents (R, 149th District) has decided she will run run again in November for what could very well be her 8th term in office, according to a report from Greenwich Post.

On Wednesday morning fiends and colleagues began posting support to the wall of Floren’s Facebook page.

According to Floren’s bio on her website, Floren was appointed by Republican Leader Larry Cafero as ranking member of the General Bonding Sub-committee where she serves on the State Bond Commission. She also serves on the General Assembly’s Finance, Revenue & Bonding Committee and the Committee on Aging.

Floren, shown in feature photo with Farmer John Augustin at Augustine’s Farm on King Street is a longtime resident of Greenwich.
