Another Change of Date for DPW Public Meeting Re North Street Bridge Replacement Project

Update #2. DPW has changed the date of their North Street Bridge meeting for a discussion on the bridge project a second time. Now the meeting is set for Wednesday, Oct 9, 2024 at 7:30pm in the town hall meeting room.

Residents have been quite vocal in opposition to the length of the project, expressing concerns about severe traffic. Neighbors, who have started a petition protesting  the Prolonged Construction of the North Street Bridge, have warned of a pending “catastrophe.”

Update #1: Out of respect of those wishing to attend the October 7 Remembrance events, the Greenwich Dept of Public Works has moved the North Street Bridge Meeting to October 8 at 7:00 in the Town Hall Meeting Room.

(Originally the meeting was scheduled for Oct 7.)

This meeting will have a hybrid option so if you are unable to attend in person you can join via Zoom.  In addition, the recording of the meeting will be uploaded after the meeting (within a day or two) and a link provided on the project webpage.  If you have any comments you would like to submit following the meeting, you can send those directly to [email protected] .
