Notice has been given that 577 Round Hill Road LLC filed an application with the Dept of Public Works Division of Buildings for a permit to demolish the house at 577 Round Hill Road, which is listed as a four bedroom, 8,188 sq ft single family house.
The property is approximately 6.58 acres and was advertised as having once been part of the Wilshire Farms estate.
The house dates to 1910.
According to the Assessor’s office at Greenwich Town Hall, the property sold from Vincent C Travagliato to 577 Round Hill Rd LLC on Jan 22, 2026 for $7,500,000.
According to the permit paperwork submitted on July 31 to the building department at Greenwich Town Hall and the start of the mandatory 45 day waiting period was Aug 1 and ends on Sept 15, 2026.
First date permit is eligible for issuance is Sept 16, 2026.

Because the home was built before 1940, a written letter of objection submitted to the Building Division of DPW will double the demolition waiting period established by Town ordinance to 90 days.
