Wegmans, Rochester-based grocery chain will open its brand new Harrison, NY location at 9:00am on Wednesday, Aug 5.
The store is enormous at 121,000 sq ft, and isn’t far from Greenwich. You can take the Hutch or I-287. The Wegmans home page lets you put in your address for directions.
The store will offer a wide variety of prepared food and restaurant options, including a Wegmans favorite, The Burger Bar. The Market Café features made to order pizzas and salads, sushi, and subs.
There is also a cookie bar, and Chef’s Case with ready to heat entrees and prepared foods, as well as an in-store coffee shop.
The store is hiring 500 employees to join their team, 220 of whom will be full time. Tel. 914-539-3739.
The property was originally set to open on June 7, but that date was pushed back due to Covid-19. With safety in mind, the store has wide aisles, plexiglass partitions, and signage to help customers abide by social distancing.
Wegmans is located at 106 Corporate Park Drive, West Harrison, NY 10604.
Store hours are 6:00am to midnight daily.
