Next for the Wrecking Ball: Adjacent Houses on Woodland Drive

On February 7, the Planning & Zoning commission approved, in a vote of 4-1, to approve a final site plan and special permit with modifications for a project at 23 Woodland Drive and 25 Woodland Drive.

The applicants are BAMSE 23 Woodland Drive LLC, which is registered to Michael Tierney, and Nutmeg Real Estate LLC, which is registered to Salvatore J DeAngelo and Donald F DeAngelo.

The applicants will construct a two-family residence on the portion of the property that is in the R-6 zone and a single family residence of the portion of the property that is in the GB zone.

The house at 23 Woodland Drive was constructed in 1929. The house at 25 Woodland was built in 1930.

Voting in favor were chair Richard Maitland, Peter Levy, Andy Fox and Nick Macri. Voting against was Margarita Alban.
