The Greenwich Exchange for Women’s Work is sponsoring a Fundraising Boutique Shopping Event on Oct 15 from 11:00am to 4:00pm in partnership with The Greenwich YWCA for the benefit of their Domestic Abuse Services Program.

The Exchange is located at 28 Sherwood Place in downtown.

You’ll find new vendors old old favorites with unique handmade wares, along with special One-Day Only Sales, Artisan Demonstrations, Gourmet Tastings, door prizes, raffle, give-aways, complementary refreshments.

10% of proceeds will go to the YWCA Domestic Abuse Services.

The Greenwich Exchange for Women’s Work was founded in 1901. It is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run craft and gift shop, supporting independent craftspeople from Fairfield County and beyond.

Purchases from the shop give artisans locally, throughout the US and in developing countries, the opportunity to earn income that pays for food, education, healthcare and housing by bringing their unique handmade products and stories to customers, bringing financial independence, piece of mind and self-esteem to those creative individuals.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention Month! Say “NO” to Violence!

YWCA Greenwich Domestic Abuse Services include crisis intervention, 24/7 hotline, individual and group counseling for adults and children, criminal and civil court advocacy, and emergency shelter.  YWCA Greenwich is the only state designated provider of domestic abuse services in Greenwich with staff who are licensed to provide a variety of victim services.

In the Town of Greenwich, domestic violence is the most reported violent crime and one of the most dangerous calls for our police officers. Last year, YWCA Domestic Abuse Services provided support to 644 victims of domestic abuse. Nearly every day someone came to the YWCA building asking for help. “WE NEED YOUR HELP!” …Say NO to Violence!
