Greenwich Chamber of Commerce announced Monday they have named Andrea Blume as the new Executive Director of the Chamber.
Ms Blume is a leader in the community with more than 10 years’ experience in nonprofit management, healthcare, local business and community engagement.

Blume is very active in the Town of Greenwich. She has been involved with the Pemberwick-Glenville Association for 13 years – leading the association with a focus on advocacy and local business support. She has coordinated its successful Valley Jam event that aims to build community and supports local businesses and non-profits.
“On behalf of our entire Board of Directors, I am so excited to have Andrea join us to lead the Greenwich Chamber into the future,” said Dana Marnane, chair, Greenwich Chamber of Commerce. “Andrea joins us at a pivotal time. Our community is experiencing a lot of growth and welcoming many new businesses. With her outstanding track record, fresh ideas, local knowledge and extensive experience in fundraising and events, she is a perfect fit to move the Chamber forward.”
Blume has served as a Board member of Greenwich Clean & Clean since 2019 and is a member of the Representative Town Meeting (RTM) Land Use Committee. She is an Occupational Therapy practitioner with over 20 years of direct patient care, spending 12 of those in Fairfield County. Most recently, Blume was the Community Impact and Membership Specialist for the Greenwich Council of Scouting America.
“I am committed to fostering a culture of economic growth and business engagement in Greenwich,” Blume said. “I love our town and I am excited to work with local businesses, non- profits and community members to support and strengthen our economy as the executive director of the Greenwich Chamber of Commerce.”
Blume was raised and educated in the Midwest and has lived in Greenwich for more than 16 years.
Last December, Marcia O’Kane, who was president and CEO of the chamber announced she was stepping down from her role after more than 13 years.
The Chamber is dedicated to advocating, promoting, connecting and educating local businesses toward the ultimate goal of business growth and sustainability. It serves all business sizes from small to large, including non-profits, utilities and the service sectors. Its Shop Local/Buy Local theme is targeted specifically toward the retail sector. The organization hosts over 30 programs and events a year designed for networking and connecting businesses.
