This month, Dutch accessory and handbag designer, Antonia Raimbault, is relocating her showroom and beach-chic brand, Le Frou Frou Couture, to Greenwich from Miami.
The showroom’s public debut will be on Saturday, May 8, and Sunday, May, 9 from noon until 5:00 pm.
A percentage of proceeds will be donated to the Breast Cancer Alliance (breastcanceralliance.org).
After traveling and managing a prestigious boutique in Paris, Monaco, St. Tropez, St. Barts, and Knokke-Le Zoute, Raimbault launched her first luxury European-inspired collection of more than a dozen handbags last summer and will launch her second collection this month with double the number of styles.
“It was in Miami that I launched my first fashion fringe designs inspired greatly by the French Frou Frou chic style,” Raimbault in a release, adding, “The idea came to me naturally when I realized that trendy, timeless, and colorful beach fringe bags and handbags were not easily accessible.”
According to Raimbault, Le Frou Frou Couture represents “luxury with ease.”
Along with easy-going hats, caps, and scarfs designed by Raimbault, the showroom will also carry a small-scale fashion collection that is a mix of elegant yet bohemian apparel with vibrant colors, imported silk caftans, and semi-precious jewelry.
Raimbault’s seaside glamour handbags and accessories will be available for retail and wholesale by appointment following her grand opening weekend.

“As I was getting to know Greenwich I started to fall in love with the Downtown area, Greenwich Avenue restaurants like Meli-Melo, and the generous people. I quickly learned about what matters most here, giving back to the community. I’m excited to see where it goes,” said Raimbault said.
Two of the most popular handbags from the Le Frou Frou Couture premiere collection will be featured in this year’s Old Bags Luncheon benefiting Domestic Abuse Services at the YWCA of Greenwich (https://ywcagreenwich.org/events-calendar/old-bags-luncheon/).
