On Saturday, Sept. 12, the Castiglione Funeral Home held a small open house to celebrate their re- grand opening at their new address on 544 Old Post Road #3. The ribbon cutting marked the upbeat conclusion of what was a time consuming search for a new home for the longtime funeral operator in Greenwich after their lease at 134 Hamilton Ave expired.

Peter Tesei cut the ribbon outside the new location of Castiglione Funeral Home on Old Post Rd.
After a near miss when their application to take over the former location of Summer Rain on Valley Road, and a prolonged series of visits with Planning and Zoning for permission to convert a former office building next to Polpo to a funeral home, all systems were go.
First Selectman Peter Tesei, State Rep Mike Bocchino (R-150), Selectman Drew Marzullo, and State Rep. Fred Camillo (R-151) were all present as Mr. Tesei cut the ribbon and Father Saba who did a blessing.
