The Hey Stamford! Food Festival welcomes renowned celebrity chefs and restaurateurs Todd English and Aaron May as the special culinary guests of this year’s festival.
The featival returns to Mill River Park for T two big weekends in 2022: August 11-14 & 18-21.
Now in its fifth year, the region’s largest food and music festival will host more than 50 food vendors each weekend with live performances by Flo Rida, DJ Pauly D, I Love the 90’s Tour (featuring Vanilla Ice, Rob Base, All-4-One, Young MC, Kid N Play), Resurrection – A Journey Tribute and more.
Anchoring the first weekend of the Hey Stamford! Food Festival, Chefs Todd English and Aaron May will host culinary demonstrations on August 13 & 14. Also joining them will be a soon-to-be announced roster of well-known chef friends, offering live cooking presentations, interacting with festival goers and much more.
The announcement comes on the heels of the recent news that the English Hospitality Group (EHG), a partnership between Todd English and entrepreneur Keith Burkard, will open an 80,000 square foot, two-story immersive Todd English Food Hall and global art exhibition in the Stamford Town Center Mall, which is expected to open in early 2024.
One of the most decorated, respected, and charismatic chefs in the world, Todd English has enjoyed a staggering number of accolades during his remarkable career. He has been recognized by several of the food industry’s most prestigious publications, established one of the best-known restaurant brands in the nation, published critically acclaimed cookbooks, and produced his own TV show for PBS.
Chef Aaron May has a passion for food and irrepressible creativity. He’s currently the executive chef and culinary director at Bullseye Event Group, where he cooks around the world at the biggest sports and music events. Additionally, Aaron still oversees the food and kitchens at his Arizona restaurants, The Lodge and Goodwood Tavern, in Arizona and is a judge on the popular Food Network series “Guy’s Grocery Games” and “Guy’s Ranch Kitchen.” Aaron and his restaurants have also appeared on “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives,” “The Best Thing I Ever Ate,” and “Guy’s Big Bite.” Meanwhile, he never sits still or stops thinking about new dishes and concepts.

August 11 & 18: The Thursday Night Beer Garden will feature ice-cold craft brews, wine and specialty cocktails, plus live entertainment by the best in local bands and DJs. 21+
August 12 & 19: TGIF x HSFF: Thank God It’s Friday at the Hey Stamford! Food Fest! There will be mouth-watering eats, live music and activities for the entire family. Entertainment TBA.
August 13-14 & 20-21: Highlighting the region’s thriving culinary scene, each Saturday & Sunday features a uniquely curated roster of 50+ food vendors, restaurants and food trucks.
