What more is there to say that hasn’t been said so many times?
Words will do very little for families in TX living every parent’s worst nightmare. Mental illness is not the culprit unless you believe we have cornered that market in these United States.
In truth we market and make guns available on a larger scale than any known country in history. We attack gun regulation as controlling the good guys and refuse to study the straw sales from reckless states that supply the black market.
Our babies aren’t safe in school, so don’t tell the families in Texas or Sandy Hook that guns don’t kill people. They know better.
Register guns and make the ownership chain carry some liability.
I have supported stricter gun laws here in Connecticut but we need to do better. Enough senseless tragedy, Congress needs to act!
