LETTER: Saleeby is Productive, Motivated, Loyal and Reliable

Submitted by Fred Brown, Brooklyn, NY

I first met Molly Saleeby when she interviewed me for a position on her staff in the Membership and Development division of Thirteen/WNET New York, public television’s flagship station.  Some 20 years on, our interaction that day is still vivid because her warmth and genuineness immediately put me at ease and her knowledge and dedication to her job and the company were evident.

Molly makes an impression!  I left her office thinking that I’d really like to join the team.  Indeed I did, and in the many ensuing years we had much success.  Today she is someone whose professional advice and counsel I still seek.

I’d like to tell you who Molly is and what it’s like to work with her because it is these very qualities I know she will bring to the Greenwich Town Clerk’s office.

Molly is highly productive.  Molly is motivated.  Molly is loyal and reliable.  She has a mindset that every problem has a solution and she never gives up.  Molly is a strong leader who supports others and inspires them to reach higher.   She is informed and always has the details.  She’s also organized and pays attention to detail, dotting every “i” and crossing every “t” which I imagine will be traits put to very good use in the Clerk’s office.

Molly is adept at forging relationships across the board and invests the time to do so.  Under her direction, Molly and I collaborated on strategy and execution of a multi-faceted, high profile, annual multi-million dollar fundraising initiative, working with a wide variety of Fortune 500 companies.  There was constant pressure and often intense deadlines.  And Molly always over-delivered.  She knows how to handle the heat.  And I think she’s just about the most efficient person I’ve ever encountered.

It is an understatement to say that Molly Saleeby is an asset to any organization.  I guarantee she will work tirelessly for the people of Greenwich because I’ve seen her at work, up close, and at all hours of the day and night when necessary.

Her beloved hometown will be most fortunate to have her as its next Town Clerk.  Mark your calendars and VOTE FOR MOLLY on November 2nd.
