Submitted by Laura Kostin, Cos Cob

Letter in Support Hector Arzeno (D) Candidate for State Rep. District 151.
Greenwich voters head to the polls in less than a month.

This election season, it is my distinct pleasure to support Hector Arzeno, who has stepped up to run for State Representative.

Mr. Arzeno is currently serving his first term on the Greenwich RTM (Representative Town Meeting) and is a delegate to the Finance Committee from District 8.

It is admirable that he is putting his background in business and international debt markets to work on behalf of our town.

Hector is a tireless volunteer. He offers his time as a tour guide and Science Department helper at Greenwich High School, where he has student.
So, it is no surprise to me that he has been a vocal advocate for our public school students and their families.

Hector also volunteers for the Greenwich Town Conservation Department at the Mianus River fish ladder.

But that’s not all.

I am impressed with his commitment to preserving and defending our gun safety laws in Connecticut. He was awarded the distinction of “Gun Safety Candidate” from Moms Demand Action, a non-partisan gun safety organization.

Additionally, he received a “A” grade from CAGV (Connecticut Against Gun Violence.).

Hector has further demonstrated his commitment to our public safety by voting in favor of funding body cams for our police department as well as by participating in the “Walk the Walk Against Domestic Violence” which raised funds for the YWCA’s work to assist victims of domestic violence.

My son and I volunteered for the recent Coastal Cleanup at Tod’s Point. Whom did I encounter? Hector.

I believe Hector Arzeno will continue to be an asset to our community while serving in Hartford.

I am thrilled to lend him my full support and you should too. Hec, Yes!
