FLOREN: Lauren Rabin Is Stitched into the Fabric of Civic Life in Greenwich

Submitted by Livvy Floren, State Rep (R-149) 2001-2021

Connecticut is the “land of steady habits,” and nothing says steady better than the calm and competent leadership of Selectwoman Lauren Rabin.

For the past four years, her focus as Selectwoman has gone way above and beyond the normal duties of the office. In addition to attending meetings of the Board of Selectmen, Representative Town Meeting, forums, community commemorations, debates and ribbon cuttings, Lauren is the liaison to the Central Middle School Building Committee, co-chair of the Re-Imagine Greenwich Committee and represents the Selectmen at numerous Planning and Zoning and Sustainability Committee meetings.

A businesswoman with extensive experience in technology marketing, Lauren has always made time to volunteer for numerous community service organizations – from Cub Scouts and youth sports leagues to PTAs and the Board of Human Services.  As a person and as a professional, she is stitched into the fabric of civic life in Greenwich.

Lauren’s inclusive civility is trusted across diverse demographics and political persuasions – public school parents and staff, non-profit and social service volunteers, senior citizens, environmentalists, and the business community.  She is responsive and accessible:  Lauren knows the people, knows the process, and knows how to get things done.

For the good of all of Greenwich, please vote for Lauren Rabin Selectwoman on November 7.

Hon. Livvy R. Floren, State Representative 2001-2021
