Chris Franco: Floren has been a strong advocate for fiscal responsibility in CT

Letter to the editor from Chris Franco, Riverside

To the Editor:

Please allow me this opportunity to express my strong support for the re-election of Livvy Floren to the Connecticut State House of Representatives for the 149th district. Livvy has developed a strong record of achievement for our State and has been an important voice for Connecticut’s priorities.

Livvy has represented our residents in the Connecticut Assembly for many years, and her experience there, as well as her dedication and hard work, have been very effective for the issues that matter to her constituents.  Livvy has been a strong advocate for fiscal responsibility in Connecticut, which is needed in Connecticut now more than ever. Livvy has also been effective in her advocacy for conservation activities in Connecticut and her stewardship of our State’s precious natural resources.

I have worked closely with Livvy for almost 20 years, and it is not an exaggeration to say that Livvy efforts, dedication and approach to issues that matter to residents of Connecticut are exceptional.

Here in Greenwich, Livvy was a founding board member of the Greenwich Point Conservancy and was instrumental in the creation of Greenwich’s state-of-the-art environmental education center at the Innis Arden Cottage.  We are very grateful that Livvy has been a key supporter of the Conservancy’s mission of preserving and restoring the historic buildings at Greenwich Point.

I am a proud supporter of Livvy Floren, and encourage my fellow residents to send Livvy to Hartford for another term.

Chris Franco
