Healing Touch Team to Share the Power of Biofield Therapy at Hope Day at the YMCA Greenwich

Residents of Greenwich will have an opportunity to experience the calming and restorative benefits of biofield therapy when the Healing Touch Team participates in a special wellness event on Sunday, April 19 from 1:00–3:00pm at the YMCA Greenwich.

This community offering invites participants to explore Healing Touch, a gentle, evidence-based biofield therapy that uses light touch or near-body techniques to support health, relaxation, reduce pain and stress, and restore balance to the mind, body, and spirit.

The Healing Touch Team—comprised of board-certified practitioners with backgrounds in nursing, psychology, education, and holistic wellness—first came together while providing biofield therapy at Greenwich Hospital. Since then, they have been dedicated to bringing accessible, integrative healing practices to the local community.

Attendees can expect a welcoming and peaceful environment where they may experience short sessions designed to promote deep relaxation, ease tension, and support overall well-being.

“Healing Touch offers a simple yet powerful way to reset and reconnect,” said one member of the team. “Our goal is to help people experience a sense of calm and resilience they can carry into their daily lives.”

Biofield therapies such as Healing Touch are increasingly used in hospitals, schools, and wellness programs as complementary approaches to support emotional and physical health.

The event at the YMCA Greenwich is open to the public and provides an opportunity for individuals curious about energy-based therapies to experience this gentle modality firsthand.

Whether you are seeking pain and stress relief, relaxation, or a moment of renewal, the Healing Touch Team welcomes all to discover the benefits of this holistic practice.
