Adopt-A-Dog’s annual Puttin’ on the Dog event is set for Sunday, Sept 21, 2025 in Roger Sherman Baldwin Park at 100 Arch Street. The event runs from 10:00am to 4:30pm.
Puttin’ on the Dog is both a fundraiser and an adoption event for multiple shelters in the surrounding area. This year marks the 37th year of the event.
The event is widely anticipated by pet lovers and includes adoptable dogs, dog competitions, and auction, vendors, food trucks, a one bar, demonstrations, a kid zone, lure course and live music!
The presenting Sponsor is Pet Pantry.
The event is an important fundraiser for Adopt A Dog where the mission is to save, socialize and secure loving homes for unwanted or abandoned dogs.
The shelter is located in Armonk, NY, right over the Greenwich line, where you can find cool dogs like Dwain!

Dwain was rescued by Adopt A Dog from Tennessee as a puppy. He was fostered and then adopted in Greenwich in 2023 by GFP editor Leslie Yager.
