The Glenville Volunteer Fire Company will honor Greenwich philanthropist, civic leader, and volunteer, Sue Moretti Bodson with the 11th annual David N. Theis Award for Outstanding Community Service at its fundraising event on Thursday, October 9, 2025.
The award is presented each year to a Greenwich resident who, in the spirit of Dave Theis, generously serves the Town’s people, organizations, and institutions.

The award ceremony will be held on Thursday, October 9, at Tamarack Country Club, beginning with a cocktail reception at 6:00pm. Save-the-Date cards have already been delivered to previous attendees, and invitations will be mailed at the end of August.
Anyone wishing to attend is encouraged to contact the GVFC by emailing [email protected] or visiting our website at www.glenvillefire.org.
The Glenville Volunteer Fire Company, a registered 501(c)(3) charity, was founded in 1903 and is dedicated to protecting the lives and property of the citizens of Greenwich. Through its fundraising efforts, the GVFC has been able to acquire specialized equipment that allows for much-enhanced coverage of Glenville, backcountry, parking garages, the Merritt Parkway, as well as the entire town. Ongoing fundraising will help first responders in our mission to protect people and property in Greenwich.
