A highlight of this year’s announcement is the establishment of a pivotal new role within the Board of Directors — the Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging. This significant position will be spearheaded by Tiffanie Gray, reflecting the League’s deepened commitment to fostering diversity and inclusivity within its operations and community initiatives.

Previously under the purview of the Director at Large, the elevation of this role underscores the JLG’s dedication to advancing DEIB principles throughout all facets of its mission.

“We are proud to formalize the Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging role as part of our ongoing efforts to embrace and celebrate diversity within our organization and the Greenwich community,” said President Stacey Higdon in a release.

Looking ahead to the new term, the Junior League Board and Management Team are eager to embark on a series of impactful projects and community events.

Among the highlights is the eagerly anticipated return of The Enchanted Forest, to take place once again at the Bruce Museum in November. This year’s event promises exciting new additions and surprises for attendees of all ages.

As part of its outreach efforts, the Junior League invites women interested in becoming members of the Junior League of Greenwich to attend one of its upcoming Open Houses in the fall. These events provide an opportunity to learn more about the organization’s mission, initiatives, and how to join in making a positive difference in Greenwich.
