Friends of Binney Park’s 12th Annual Daffodil Planting Day is Saturday

The Friends of Binney Park is excited to announce their 12th Annual Daffodil Planting Day, taking place at Hillside Annex on Binney Park’s north end on Saturday, November 4.

This long-standing tradition is a testament to the dedication of our community in enhancing the natural beauty of our beloved park.

Over the years, volunteers have planted nearly 10,000 daffodils on the Hillside Annex, an integral part of Binney Park since the 1930s. These vibrant blooms have become a symbol of the park’s ever-growing charm each spring.

“We invite volunteers of all ages to join us on this special morning to continue the tradition of planting daffodils, enhancing the beauty of our park, and fostering a sense of community,” said Friends of Binney Park President Peter Uhry. “It’s a fantastic opportunity for families, friends, and individuals to connect with nature, give back to our local environment, and make lasting memories.”
