The Greenwich Tree Conservancy “Awesome Tree Contest” Returns

The Awesome Tree Contest is on.

The Greenwich Tree Conservancy is celebrating Spring with a photography, art and poetry contest. Residents are asked to share images and poems of a favorite tree or woodlands that inspire them.

Can be on town public or private land Choose from one of the following categories:

• Spring Flair – Photograph or work of art celebrating the joy of spring

• A Walk Amongst Trees – Photograph or work of art capturing the sense of wonder of a walk in the woods

• All in the Details – Close-up photograph or work of art highlighting bark, leaves, etc.

• Ode to a Tree – A poem that shares your affection for a tree.
