The Friends of the IDF (FIDF) event with the Challah Prince at Temple Sholom in Greenwich on Tuesday night was well attended. The event was sold out with more than 200 local women in attendance who braided Challah together with the Challah Prince.
Jen Lowitt, the event chair said, “It was my honor to chair this incredible community event. The work and dedication of the committee was outstanding. Am Yisrael Chai Forever.”
Anat Chavkin, FIDF Executive Director, Westchester and CT Chapter, said, “Our strength is in our unity. This Challa braiding event united people all across the Westchester and Connecticut area for Israel and the IDF soldiers.”
