Soundview Mahjong League is expanding to Greenwich. Beginning in March, players can join a fun and social six-week American Mahjong League at the Greenwich YWCA, where beautiful tiles, friendly competition and great company come together.
The League offers two convenient time slots: an evening session on Thursdays, from 6:30-8:30pm (March 5-April 9) and a morning session on Fridays, from 10:00am-12:00pm (March 6- April 10).
Participants need to know how to play American Mahjong independently, there will be no lessons or coaching.
There will be designated beginner’s tables available for those who are newer to the game or prefer to play at a slower pace.
Everyone will receive a swag bag, and there will be table prizes every week (for each table winner). Check out their beautiful tiles at https://ohmymahjong.com. The fee to participate in the six-week League is $220.
Already a hit in Darien with nearly 120 participants, Soundview Mahjong is known for its lively atmosphere, community spirit and amazing people.
The Greenwich League promises to bring the same warm, engaging, competitive-ish experience, with plenty of laughs along the way.
