Greenwich High School’s spring musical production of Grease is set for Thursday, May 14; Friday, May 15; and Saturday, May 16 in the school’s performing arts center. Shows start at 7:00pm. There is an intermission between Act 1 and Act 2.
The director is Patricia Cirigliano, who also did the costuming. Tech direction is by Scott Borowka whose crew handled sets including Kenickie’s vintage pink Nash Metropolitan he insists is “Greased Lightning.” Choreography is by Frank Mastrone and Luke Rosenberg directs the musicians in the state-of-the-art orchestra pit that drops 9 feet below ground level.
After a summer romance, Sandy Olsson (played by Noelle Iasillo) and Danny Zuko (Jack Kosinski) navigate some serious peer pressure. Step back in time to Rydell High School in the 1950s, where the Pink Ladies and the T-Birds get schooled in senior year drama and rock n roll dance parties.

GHS Theater Arts offers challenging and creative opportunities for learning the art and craft of theater and serves more than 300 students annually. Our program encompasses academic courses for theater performance, backstage technical and design classes, and school productions presented throughout the year. Half of our courses are introductory and designed for students of all abilities and interests. We offer a supportive, creative, and safe learning environment to acquire outstanding theater performance skills. All courses have as their fundamental goals teaching students to work creatively and cooperatively, liberating and focusing expression, and developing confidence and mutual respect.
