Friends of Greenwich Point invite you to a Geology Walk in Saturday, Sept. 26. Join Mike Aurelia, as he leads a casual low-tide walk around the Point pointing out and discussing interesting aspects of the geological history of the Point. Mike is on the Friends of Greenwich Point Advisory Board, on the State Board of the CT Audubon Society, President of Aton Forest, Inc., is a semi-retired water resources consultant and is a prior Town of Greenwich shellfish warden.
The 1.5 mile walk will start at the Innis Arden Cottage and run for 90 minutes. In the event of rain the walk will be rescheduled for a later date. Presented by the Friends of Greenwich Point.
