Chabad Lubavitch’s annual Hannukah Menorah lighting event on Greenwich Avenue drew a large crowd on Saturday evening.
The plaza outside the former US Post office was illuminated by hundreds of white lights in the trees as Rabbi Yossi Deren and US Senator for Connecticut Richard Blumenthal went up in the Fire Dept ladder truck bucket.
Following the menorah lighting, families enjoyed Chabad’s Unity for Israel concert featured a performance by rapper Nissin Black at the New Chabad Center located across from town hall at 38 Field Point Road.
