Patriotic Walk Returns for Veterans Day; Ceremony Will Honor Livvy Floren

On Veterans Day, Tuesday, Nov 11, the annual patriotic walk led by the American Legion Post 29 will start up at the intersection of Greenwich Ave and Amogerone Crossway and finish at 310 Greenwich Avenue, at the historic post office, now home to RH, where the World War I obelisk is located in a triangular park.

The walk is an opportunity for Greenwich residents to honor the memories of loved ones who served their country, many who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Veterans are encouraged to participate in the walk. Many people walk carrying photos of their family members.
