Greenwich Police are participating in the national Click it or Ticket effort through Nov 27th.
There will be extra patrols on the roads courtesy of extra funding from the state Dept of Transportation, who are also funding education spots, including PSA’s and billboards on roads throughout the state.
“The holiday season is upon us, and we want everybody driving to drive safely, carefully and soberly,” said Traffic Sgt Patrick Smyth.
Toward that end, Greenwich Police will also up their enforcement of DUIs over the holiday weekend.
