A first job can have a serious impact for the rest of your life.
SuccessReady, based out of Mamaroneck, NY, provides college men and women professional attire, interview prep, coaching and career mentoring to help transition the in-need students of today into the career professionals of tomorrow.

The organization was founded by Julie Kirshner as professional career counselor and seasoned interview coach, Kathleen Ventrella as the Director of Marketing and Development and Susan Drexler as Director of Operations. The SuccessReady team strives to level the playing field for them because they believe every student should be judged on their passions and aspirations, and their success should not be limited by their financial situation.

SuccessReady partners with colleges and universities in and around the greater Westchester, New York and Fairfield County, CT area. They work in conjunction with career center staff, professors and the student support departments within these “partner” colleges to complement and supplement with the tools necessary for students to perform their best during interviews and at career-related events.

Students are initially referred by college staff, faculty, and fellow students. Each student will set up their own time to meet with a SuccessReady coach. To best prepare these students for their upcoming career seeking event, SuccessReady coaches fit each qualified candidate for a new or “gently-used” professional outfit.

Each student may take one full suit or up to four separate pieces. In addition to their attire, each student may receive interview preparation and career coaching-from networking tips to mock interviews-to help give them the confidence to perform their best when it matters most. All clothing and services are provided at no charge, and will be kept by the students. All requests and transactions are confidential.
