Byram Shubert Holiday Tree Lighting and Open House Set for Dec 7th

The Friends of the Byram Shubert Library invite friends and neighbors to begin the holiday season at the Annual Holiday Tree Lighting and Open House, Saturday, December 7 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at the library, 41 Mead Avenue, Byram. Everyone will gather at the tree to sing seasonal songs.

The lighting will take place at 4:15! There is a rumor that there might be a special visitor!

Following that, inside the library there will be music in the air provided by Bob Leinbach and simple crafts for children to make – and take home!

The holiday flavor is enhanced by the potluck buffet brought by guests, featuring their favorite family holiday recipes.

This free family evening is the Friends’ gift to the community.

The Friends of the Byram Shubert Library are actively involved all year, providing support to a multitude of programs and events. These include:  School Vacation Week programs, Fun with Chess for kids and adults, tai chi and yoga for adults and kids, family crafts workshops, delicious cooking demonstrations and a variety of films, including the Friends Class Film Series.
