Adopt-A-Dog’s Pets Waiting for Homes Receive Christmas Gifts from Pet Pantry

To ensure that all of the adoptable pets at Adopt-A-Dog have gifts this Christmas, several bags of holiday-themed pet toys and treats, along with a big box of pet cookies, were donated by Pet Pantry Warehouse to a local animal rescue organization.

The pet supply retailer, founded in 1945, regularly supports local animal rescue groups and other local organizations. The company hosts a series of signature events that bring the community together while fundraising for these organizations throughout the year, including New Canaan Dog Days, Fairfield Dog Days, Fairfield Harvest Market, and both Puttin’ on the Dog and Howl & Prowl in Greenwich.

“As a family-owned business, we’re focused on community, it’s important for us to support our local nonprofits especially this time of year,” said Adam Jacobson, Executive Vice President at Pet Pantry.

There are more than 30 adoptable pets available through Adopt-a-Dog. For more information visit their website adoptadog.org.
