Yom Ha’atzmaut Festivities Bring Jewish Community Together at Greenwich Town Hall

Over 200 people came to celebrate Israel’s 69th Independence Day at Greenwich Town Hall on Sunday, May 7.

The Yom Ha’atzmaut festivities, presented by UJA/JCC Greenwich, brought together the entire Jewish community from all congregations and organizations in town and attended by Senator Richard Blumenthal.

In addition to flag raising, which has been a tradition in the Greenwich Jewish community for over 30 years, there was Israeli food, family-friendly activities, and live music performed by Carmel Academy student bands.
