Greenwich Land Trust to Host Dr. Doug Tallamy for Talk on Promoting Native Plants, Biodiversity, Local Food Ecosystems

Join Greenwich Land Trust for a talk and a stroll through the GLT meadows with author and conservationist Dr. Doug Tallamy.

Dr. Doug Tallamy, the chair of the entomology and wildlife ecology department at the University of Delaware and the author of Bringing Nature Home and The Living Landscape, will talk about what we can do in our own backyards to promote native plants, restore biodiversity, and support local food webs and ecosystems. 

Specifically he’ll discuss the importance of our native insects and how they rely on native plant populations. He will also look at these complex relationships and discuss how landowners can help build healthy native habitats.

Dr. Tallamy is the founder of Homegrown National Park (HNP).  Space is limited. registration required.
