Greenwich Hospital hosted the Kids Health Discovery Day at the Bruce Museum on Saturday.
Greenwich Hospital and Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital clinical experts brought the science of medicine to the science of the Bruce Museum in a fun and interactive way.
Bones compared human bones to dinosaur bones
The importance of hand hygiene was demonstrated by putting a small amount of a substance that mimics germs on children’s hands. They got to see it glow and then Purell and look again to see how well (or not) they washed.
The eyes station showed light refraction – using a prism and explained why the sky is blue
