Alex Eaves and Derek “Deek’ Diedricksen
Follow tiny house movement leaders, Eaves and Diedricksen, as they transform a 17-foot moving truck into a 98-square-foot house and mobile education center using almost entirely reused, repurposed, and reclaimed materials. This film documents their innovative, resourceful, and at times hilarious “triumph over junk.”
The April 3 screening of “The Box Truck Film: Building A Reuseful Home” is open to the public and free to attend.
Register here.
In addition, Greenwich Academy will sponsor tours of the Reuse Box Truck at the ReThink Waste Fair hosted by Waste Free Greenwich on Saturday, April 5 at 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Christ Church Parish Hall. Meet Alex Eaves and learn how this little house and education center employed reuse for every step of the construction process.
