Trivia Night to Combine Fun & Fundraising for Greenwich Public Schools

Question: What annual event combines fun and fundraising to benefit Greenwich Public Schools programs and scholarships?

Answer: Greenwich Alliance for Education’s Trivia Night!

The 2021 event, which will be held virtually on Friday, March 19 from 6:45 to 9:00pm, features six rounds of general trivia questions as well as an online silent auction and a paddle raise.

“Trivia Night is a highlight of the Alliance’s annual fundraising calendar, and we are taking the fun virtual this year,” said Julie Faryniarz, Executive Director, Greenwich Alliance for Education. “The 2021 event will raise even more funds for Greenwich Alliance Scholarship Fund through a generous $25,000 match.”

Teams collaborate via Zoom in dedicated break-out rooms and answers are submitted online.  Prizes will be awarded to the top two scoring teams, as well as to one team determined to have the “Best Team Name.”

Online registration for individuals and teams is available online at Greenwich Alliance. Costs are $50 per person; $100 per couple; or $500 per team of up to 10 players.  Singles and couples are welcome and will be matched with other players to form a team. All ticket sales are 100% tax deductible.

The online silent auction will feature nearly 50 prizes, including vacation homes in Kiawah Island and the Bahamas, dog training, wine tasting with Pete Bothwell – Master Sommelier, flower containers by Michele Moore’s Gardening, Garden Catering Crab Shack and Cocktail party, and many gift certificates from local restaurants.

Bidding, which is open to the public, opens on Monday, March 15. Click here for bidding catalog.
