Rumba for a Reason! 7th Annual Dancing Stars of Greenwich Charity Gala Set for Sept 20

Get ready to put on the glam and give back for a great cause.

The seventh annual Dancing Stars of Greenwich charity gala, hosted by the Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Greenwich to benefit Abilis, brings the sparkle and spectacle of Dancing with the Stars to town on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Tamarack Country Club in Greenwich.

The evening runs from 7:00pm to midnight and includes a VIP cocktail hour, live entertainment, silent auction, seated dinner and, of course, show-stopping ballroom performances by local luminaries and their professional partners.

Tickets and tables sell out every year. Reserve yours today by calling 203-340-2760 or visiting greenwichdancingstars.com.

Event co-hosts Brendan and Afton Fraser return to lead the festivities. Celebrity judges include award-winning actor Brendan Fraser, renowned model and actress Paulina Porizkova, and comedy writer Jeff Greenstein.

Ali Wentworth, actress, comedian, producer, host of her podcast Go Ask Ali and New York Times bestselling author, will also be back as emcee, and celebrity fitness guru, dancer and choreographer Billy Blanks Jr., who is also founder of the popular dance fitness program, Dance It Out, will also be part of the festive evening.

Mirroring the hit TV show, community and business leaders perform custom dance routines with Fred Astaire professionals in front of the panel of celebrity judges, all vying for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy. Fans at home can also participate: every dollar donated in a dancer’s name counts as a vote toward the People’s Choice Award for the top individual fundraiser.
