Lions Club of Greenwich Annual Pancake Breakfast Returns on Saturday, March 16

On Saturday, March 16 from 8:00am to 12:00pm, the Lions Club of Greenwich’s Annual Pancake Breakfast returns to Greenwich High School.

This will be the 61st Pancake Breakfast for the Lions Club which was originally held at Eastern Greenwich Civic Center until last year’s move.

“We are excited for this year’s Pancake Breakfast, being held for the second year in Greenwich High School’s Student Center,” said Allen O’Farrell, Chair of the Lions Pancake Breakfast.  “Last year’s event was a success in a new location as well as the first breakfast after a three year hiatus due to the pandemic. We are thrilled to hold this fun community event once again, so centrally located and easy for the entire town to attend.”

As always, the Pancake Breakfast will serve unlimited pancakes, sausages, syrup, orange juice, coffee, tea and milk.

“Greenwich Lions Club members prepare the pancakes and sausages for attendees right in front of them,” said Allen. “This event is more than just pancakes though, as we have entertainment, a bake sale, door prizes, free eye screening for 2 to 6 year olds and face painting by Faces By Wells, all for a great cause. Plus, new this year, we’ll be presenting the Lion’s Club donations to over 30 local non-profits.”

Tickets are available in advance for $8/each at Perrot Library’s adult circulation desk and/or any Greenwich Lions Club member or $10/each at the door; kids five years old and under are free.
