The Garden Club of Old Greenwich recently planted the window boxes and planters in Old Greenwich with many colorful annuals which will be watered by the merchants and grow through the summer and into the fall. Members of the Garden Club will replace the annuals with evergreens for the winter and pansies  early next spring.
The May Garden Club Plant sale supported this effort. Other civic projects are the Butterfly Garden at Greenwich Point, Gateway garden, Tomac cemetery, outreach gardening workshops for Pathways, Hill House, Nathaniel Witherell, garden education at Old Greenwich School.
