Greenwich Food+Wine Festival’s Culinary Village drew an enormous crowd to Roger Sherman Baldwin Park on Saturday for Serendipity’s fifth annual event. Bigger and better than ever, thousands poured into the park on a perfect sunny afternoon, mingling with friends as they noshed on freshly prepared concoctions, including Executive Chef Passaro’s delicious Tuna Tacos from Little Pub, samples from soon-to-open Fleisher’s Craft Butchery and mouthwatering cupcakes courtesy of Sweet Lisa’s Exquisite Cakes.

Throughout the afternoon, guests paced themselves as they maneuvered through the celebrity studded crowd, choosing from a wide array of restaurant and vendor tastings, cooking demonstrations, and samplings of beer, wine and spirits.

A popular spot was Pinot’s Palette, where wine enthusiasts poured creativity onto blank canvasses, creating masterpieces in the process.
The event benefited Paul Newman’s Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. The camp was founded in 1988 by Paul Newman with the premise that every child, no matter their illness, could experience the transformational spirit and friendships that go hand-in-hand with camp.
